Welcome to Arpan's summer concert Ehsaas 2009

We are immensely happy to present our work from the last two years. A heartfelt thanks to all supporters, friends and family of Arpan in making our dance dreams a reality.

Ehsaas means ‘realization’ in Hindi, Arabic and Urdu languages. Our hope is to communicate the self-realization that dance brings to each of us; a realization of the power of dance to communicate emotions, the physical and expressive capacity of a dancer and the need to learn and grow through a new medium.

Tonight’s show features the premier of our new composition “Laya Samvaad” composed and choreographed by our guru, Joyce. We will also present traditional Bharatanatyam compositions as well as creative pieces choreographed by the students.

If purchasing tickets is a financial constraint but you would love love love to see Ehsaas and are a true admirer of Bharatanatyam, please let us know at the ticket desk.

Light refreshments will be available at the venue courtesy ASHA for Education.
